“I am a storyteller at heart who is very passionate about the collaborative process of theatre and the journey that we take. I like to bring a fun, fresh and innovative point of view to my process of conceiving, creating and bringing to life a story through my direction and choreography”
Steven is an award winning Director, Choreographer and Educator who has spent much of the past 30 years as a professional performer, director, choreographer and teacher in New York City as well as Nationally and Internationally. Steven had the privilege to direct and choreograph the 1st National Tour of “The Great American Trailer Park Musical” which was also featured at the Edinburgh Theatre Festival in Scotland. Most recently Steven has been on the Musical Theatre Faculty at the University of Central Oklahoma as an instructor as well as directing and choreographing numerous Musicals. Professionally he has been directing and choreographing locally in Oklahoma as well as regionally and has been the Artistic Director of Edmond Summer Stock. In Europe he directed and choreographed long running productions of “Hair”, “The Golden Musicals of Broadway” (Jennifer Lopez’ first professional gig), and “The Best of Broadway”. Regionally he has directed and choreographed numerous productions of “Nunsense”, “A Chorus Line”, and “West Side Story” among others.
